Holistic Health and Fitness has always been a passion of mine. As a result, and in parallel to climbing the corporate ladder in the tech industry, I kept one foot in the fitness industry teaching group fitness and coaching individuals for the past 20 + years
In 2000, I began learning the practice of Yoga. Initially, like most everyone, I was only interested in the physical benefits not realizing that yoga is a complete system and science for positive change. It wasn’t until about 7 years ago that I began a more serious study of Yoga. Since Yoga has its roots in India, I looked there to enhance my knowledge and obtain my Yoga Teachers Certification. I spent 10 weeks immersed in and living Yoga. Learning the system of Yoga is a life long process, an experiential process. We must imbibe Yoga to really understand its amazing power.
Along with the asanas (postures), meditation and pranayama I also became aware of the powerful sister science to yoga, Ayurveda. As a closet herbalist I’ve always looked to more holistic forms of healthcare and natural remedies. I found through direct experience the powerful affects that Ayurveda can have on our physical and mental well being. So much so that I am currently pursuing my certification as an Ayurveda Health Practitioner
My desire is to share what I have learned and practiced with you. My hope is that you realize all the benefits of this powerful system as I have. The journey is never complete as there is always more to learn. I hope you join me.
